Man that blows. Sure sounds like that would be enough. Yet a guy from my new hire class sent AA his interview invite from another legacy and that somehow triggered an interview for AA. Wasn’t even a CJO.

Maybe it’s because I’m not a captain yet, I’m not entirely sure. But then again they are hiring regional FO’s so I don’t know.

If you aren’t a captain and already have another legacy CJO I would consider yourself pretty damn lucky. I didn’t start getting much action until I had 700+ hours in the left seat.

What way would you even do that? Attach it to your application? Email them? Hand it to a gate agent?

Probably forwarded his interview invite to AA recruitment.

Right after the bonus came into effect, one Check Airman from Piedmont who lives 25min from PHL turned down SWA and United in order to stay and flow in 18 months, So AAG was hopefully everyone would do it.

AAG management thought the bonus structure and WO Captain pay was enough to keep their pilots from leaving. They’ve been learning the last 6 months that it wasn’t which is why they have changed the bonus and CA pay structure for upgrading FOs at the Wholly Owned on June 1st.

Also I think this threaten 'em with a competing CJO thing is funny. The sense of entitlement in the younger generation astounds me. It's like Milton in Office Space. "I could take my American Express Traveler's cheques to a competing resort. I could put strychnine in the guacamole. I could set the building on fire". It'd be pretty funny if American's response to his CJO threat is to fire him from PSA which would also get his CJO canceled. Then he'll get his job back in 9 months and play a country song backwards but be a PSA lifer.
I agree it’s like volunteering to be the fat girl alone in the bar at 3am begging
