Well for starters probably want to avoid saying you “technically” have failures, you either do or you don’t. I’d guess that if enough time has passed and you disclosed everything on your application then if they invite you to interview then they’re willing to hire you. If they get even a whiff that you’re not owning your failures then all bets are off.

Delta would never seembto pull my app. But I went to a career expo and then they did. So I’m wondering if a similar situation would go down at AA. I signed up for RTAG in OCT. and for the record I’m not not owning up for my mistakes but it does seem a little extreme to fully judge a person based on stuff from years and years ago.

AA has taken plenty of WO pilots who left. Often times out of indoc of their next employer after they leave, that way AA doesn’t have to pay the $100k flow bonus.

Either way, I plan to make a professional appearance at RTAG in Oct and if that doesn't do it..well,,,F9 is fine and I get to stay in MCO. Not a bad deal either way.

Aircraft KC-135 PIC 1721 SIC 1020 Instructor 595... and then a little time in other aircraft of little consequence.
I have a decent resume in terms of work performance in the USAF and ANG.
I had five AA Pilot Endorsements.
I did not receive an receive "an under review email".
The date I wrote earlier was wrong. 8/8 was when I got my first endorsement. My app was probably active for three weeks. I can't speak for the magic formula that got me an invite so quickly; nor do I know the new norm for invitations to interview. The AA pilots in my unit like flying with me and consider me a good fit for American; but I certainly have less hours (over the span of my last two decades in the military) than most Turbine PICs I see mentioned in the forums.
Good luck!

I left PSA with 1,180 TPIC. And I know a couple guys who used CJOs elsewhere to get hired at AA. Seemed hit or miss though. I tried it early on and got a response but no follow up. A couple other guys I know used Delta CJOs to leverage an interview and CJO at AA but then AA ghosted them indefinitely. So they just went to Delta. In a seniority based system you cant really expect people to wait around for a slow flow system when hiring is unlike anything its ever been.

I interviewed there back in Jan. They were actually the first airline to offer an invite. Did all the prep and what not but 1.5 weeks afterwards got the TBNT. They told me I couldn't be reconsidered for 12 months so I still have a ways to go. I have pretty much forgotten about them.
