I interviewed last week, no CJO on the spot. I got an email yesterday with the CJO. This has happened to a few others I know of as well. They said everyone should hear something by the end of the week regardless on whether it’s a yes or no and if we didn’t hear from them by Friday to reach out to the pilot recruiting team.

Your buddy not hearing anything since his/her interview in July is odd. That's definitely not normal. But not getting a CJO on the spot is totally normal. Your buddy that interviewed in July should have reached back after a couple weeks. Now obviously that would be slightly awkward 😬

AA interviewers are telling interviewees in Dallas this week that Narrowbody CA upgrade at 2 years, Widebody FO 5 years and Widebody CA upgrades are dropping to around 7 years and 50% company seniority in 8 years for new hires.
What’s so terrible about Group IV Captain at mainline that 50% of the pilot group is going to bypass it to stay Group III CA and Group IV FO?
