AA Hiring?

Maybe FAs selling credit cards isn't enough, soon AA will be a credit card and male supplement company that also flys airplanes.
Incredibly unprofessional to have that message on social media while representing the AA brand. The management decisions are mind boggling. United snipes Swayne and AA ends up picking this bozo, what a joke. It's obvious the competition is winning.

UAL picked up Swayne?

He made a video following the United 777 uncontained engine failure about how the pilots were scared and didnt aviate, navigate, communicate properly. He was going to get disciplined but his daddy is some big shot at US Airways (where a lot of PDT management came from), so he got him out of trouble.
The guy is a real gem.

Should be an interesting year. There are a massive amount of Wholly-own regional pilots at Envoy, Piedmont, and PSA that would love to come aboard. Hopefully AA hires more outside the flow. Both United and Delta have been grabbing the Wholly own AA regional pilots like hot cakes this past year.

I wonder if Garrett got hired because of his dad, or because of his social media presence. His dad is on the CAL scan list somehow, but no one I know has been able to come up with the story…. He’s a current pilot here

Well the joke is on Garrett, he just does not know it yet. He is getting on at the worst of the big 3 and FedEx. It won't take him long to realize this place is not much better than the regional he comes from. Maybe they can offer him a direct entry Check Airman position, because we all know that is probably one of the worst jobs at this airline, maybe he can scoop up one of those many unfilled positions. We can't even have our own seniority list pilots instructors here at AA. Have fun in training Garrett, hopefully the 'SIMP' instructor you get actually knows what the heck he is talking about. Then when you get to the line, enjoy not being able to swap reserve days. Then when you hold a line, that will be right around the time our only useful QOL scheduling tool, TTOT, will be going away. Maybe he at least gets the bonus money, because AA has told our union they can only get 150mil in contract improvements, while they give approx 750 mil to our wholly-owned regional pilots.
