Endeavor. And we have full benefits with only Delta having higher priority. The parents though are given retiree priority, which is lower. Parents don’t pay a fee.

The travel benefits have lost most of their value as the non-rev fees have gone up and the regular fares have gone down.
The only thing I use anymore is the AA20 fares, which is 20% off the advertised fares for a positive space ticket for you and family listed on the benefits.
For example, a recent FL to New England direct flight was going to be $93 in non-rev fees for my parents. AA.com had a flight listed for $160. 20% off that was about $130. Totally worth the extra money to be positive space, and if you're flexible you can (and I have) scored $800+ credit vouchers when flights inevitably fill up.

Are there any airlines AA employees can ZED on for free? For example, DL employees can ZED on VS and AM for just the taxes; anything like that at AA? (It might have to do with the fact DL owns a significant portion of both of those airlines.) Any special agreements with B6 or AS, given their close partnerships with AA? Also, is there a 6-month wait for ZED ability, or is that another DL-ism? Much to learn, thanks in advance!

The fare that replaced the zed low is actually a small amount higher cost than it used to be when it was a zed low, but which allows for sitting in premium cabins. Or at least that’s how it was explained to B6 employees and has worked out for me in practice. Not a significant difference in price over zed low though.

My humble suggestion after 31 years of observing the decline of non-rev travel is to study the APA Contract carefully, learn every word and use it to your advantage and buy 1st Class tickets with the skills learned for you and spouse/boy-girlfriend/preferred pronoun meat sack and forget getting treated like a standby leper.
You will come out way ahead with this advice.
