How did the prelim align with the vacancy announcement overall?
I don’t know i don’t even bother looking at the vacancy forecasts. They are nothing like they were at airways.

Jr LAX 737 CA went to March 2016 hire on this vacancy, but most junior LAX 737 CA is July 2019 hire.
Jr LAX 320 CA went to December 2014 hire on this vacancy, but most junior LAX 320 CA is May 2016 hire.
Jr PHX 320 CA went to May 2004 on this vacancy, but most junior PHX 320 CA is April 2017 hire.

true in PHX but aberrations. #245 in PHX is 4500 numbers more senior then the plug at #255.

So these 10 junior PHX Captains just happened to luck out with being in a base someone else wanted to transfer to?

I think a lot of guys rather not be super junior in a base with very little movement. I honestly don’t know how these bottom 3-5 guys got in. Dumb luck and not enough people bidding the position

This last vacancy award really wasn't surprising. Many people did not want to bid to have training in summer or around the Holidays, so people that were bypassing previously took the March upgrade/move. This is pretty typical. All in all, it was a decent award. Things went up just a little bit, but will fall quickly in the next few awards.
