So am I. And I was told that I am not superior enough. Don't ask me what that was based on. Lack of G3 aircraft?

We are negotiating something LAA gave away? Lemme guess, APA is gonna claim that they came up with it.

This forum used to be a great place to get info, now it’s degenerated into a hate fest towards everything LAA and how LUS was nirvana. Y’all can keep your LUS circle jerk… I’m out, adios

That’s exactly why I rarely read the internal APA forum (“The Line”). Everything devolves into the same 50 or so geriatric boomers yelling at each other over who got screwed harder in a merger/bankruptcy/furlough/lost decade/etc. It’s exhausting. At some point… gotta move on.

To be fair it was you LAA folks that told us how superior you are (about 47 times if I remember). From training, SABRE to your network etc. Every bit that actually WAS superior to your contract (that I endlessly repeated) LAA/ APA gave away (js protection, last leg jetway swap, employee shipping etc.). Remember the APA proposed ONE month transition training to the 763 for the LUS/LAWA pilots? It was so absurd that even the feds said to f off. So yeah it's a circle, because now I have to worry about js-ing on a weight restricted flight that apparently is so rare that I wasted 10 hours of my life already this year to get on a flight.

At the mighty MasterBase everyone is whining how great AA was before that merger and that DFW was the place of milk and honey. Trust me, I hear that everyday I fly out of that godforsaken place. From LAA pilots, mechanics to gate agents. Selective memory can be great.

Took LA ground school in GSW since I changed my bid status. Ground instructor couldn't stop picking on USAirways, but wouldn't elaborate why exactly cleared direct and cleared direct to is a very important difference when you fly south of the border.

Sorry, you LAA guys started it. Play stupid games ...

Edit:

It's supposed to read "cleared (to) ABC" and "cleared direct ABC".

You’re hanging on way to tight to LUS. Where there some good things in the LUS contract…yes. But there were some awful things, like WB CA paid less than our NB FO pays, and top of the scale NB FO was less than year 1 FO. Time to move. No one cares anymore.

Seriously. It’s been a decade.

Fortunately, those hired post merger will outnumber those hired before soon.
