I never said I'm a CA. I'm a FO, but outside the summer I usually have much more than 21 days off 🤣

FedEx...Commuting vs living in base is not black and white. I live by a major hub, bid double DHs (positive space tickets on both ends). I usually leave the house 12-20 hours AFTER I am on the clock and return home 12-24 hours BEFORE the clock stops. I have never been above 70% in any seat. Don't mind flying nights when you get a 3-4 hour nap between single leg flights while still on the clock (don't touch Memphis which is my base, I have gone months without seeing Memphis). Also 1/3 block for pay hours of WB rates is nice also. As far as health...there are marathon runners at freight and pax. The other end of the spectrum also. Bottom line is get enough sleep in a 24 hour period, work out and eat healthy. Cheers.

Umm. Well rsv in base where I spend the day with my family and still get paid is a day off in my eyes. Since my kids are all young that time at home with them might as well be a day off for me. Rsv in a hotel room away from base... yeah that's a different story. Only bummer is I can't have my whiskey.

QOL, yes. Day off, no.
