Other than Reserve and paid sit time I challenge AA pilots to come up with any current contract item that other Major airlines would be envious of. After infighting between the BOD and President the Alaska Proposal has been studied and obviously found to be way ahead of our AIPs. Earth to BOD you are way over your head. Not all of you but come on. You need to get this group of 15000 pilots to think alike. You are causing division and it is going to set us further behind for years to come. Someone needs to take charge and get us acting as one group.

It’s a hot mess here in AA land.
-minimum 14 days off
-positive space commuting
-guaranteed at least 4 days off minimum after a 5 day trip, 3 off after a 4 day.
-adequate reserve staffing such that ~75% of the month’s days meet or exceed a non-arbitrary reserve threshold, allowing for schedule manipulation.
-a company funded shuttle that runs between all the airports of a multi-airport base
-Improvements to LTD
-pay rate increases obviously

feel free to add more to the above.

No red/redder bs. Flexibility in trip trading.
Weight protection for the jumpseat.
Last leg trip swap.

Union holds Family Awareness Event on weekly bases. MIA event had 15 pilot attended, mostly APA reps. We can't get pilots to attend events with free food and happy booze. A lot of what we talk about on here could be asked, addressed, answer at these events. We need unity, right now we have none!! Company knows this.... 2400 pilot in Miami..... 15 attended.

Exactly. Too many groups too anxious about being overrun by the adversary group.

I attended a concourse conversation in Boston. Asked by BOS chair if I was legacy AA and what I thought about my reps. Didn’t care what my concerns were. After telling him I liked my reps he left me. No offer of food, nothing. He came off as a real jerk.

Why would I attend a meeting where I will be ignored and unliked. Free food and beer is dumb.

There is zero unity. Just think of the selfish pilots signing up to be Check Pilots when the Union clearly told them not to. Too bad for those selfish pilots are going to suffer under the old Check Pilot contract. We are years away from a new contract.

We just rescinded the Hotel AIP. No longer an AIP. How many more will be rescinded once the board takes a closer look. Almost all.

Agree 100%. However, I try to stay oppomistic. In the not too distant t future those hired since 13-14 will represent over 50% of the list and we all seem to want the same thing. But you're spot on...

idk man, I've never felt "ignored" at Family Awareness events. You don't have to eat or drink :-)

idk man, I've never felt "ignored" at Family Awareness events. I don't always get the answer I want but at least my question is answered. You don't have to eat or drink :-)
