For comparison, I hit 80% in DFW after one year

How's the NB DFW flying? I imagine its a lot of turns and flying through DFW. Do reserve get used a lot?

Large variety of flying. Most touch Dallas between turns

the first month and a half on the line I was SC. In that time I had maybe two or three days total that I didn’t get used. Mostly 1 and 2 day trips. Then I got senior enough for long call. I get used every block but mostly 3 and 4 days. The last block of 6 reserve days I had I got a 4 day, couldn’t be used the 5th day and was left alone on day 6.

ive also had two random months that I got a line. Not a great line, but a line none the less. Currently prefer LC to anything else.

bus/domestic, by the way. I hope this helps you.

Movement at AA is about double movement at DL for someone hired today. If seniority progression is what you’re looking for, AA is the place to be. UA is a close second.

so… a life long friend is at delta. Awarded the 767-400 in NY as a new hire. Never been on reserve. Holding a line doing nothing but Europe trips.

I told him to buy a lottery ticket…

Believe in CLT that’s how 777 goes as well. Short call reserve is senior.

How long to get the Triple in CLT as a new hire? And what about the 78 in PHL?

I am a 5yr NB FO

yes, you can upgrade quick but man, you will be getting 88hr, 16 day non commutable lines that are on all 4 weekends with very little ability to trade

same with reserve: 18 days on call

the trips have gone downhill the last 2 years. all pay snd credit is getting squeezed out and that means multi leg days and very, very few turns. Not saying someone shouldn’t come here but to look at upgrade times is stupid
