I stayed at the Clarion. It was $80 out the door. They have a crew floor and hospitality suite with breakfast in the morning. It's not much, but they take care of crews. There's a parking lot and shuttle there that runs 24 hours to the airport. It's not fancy but it's clean. 610-521-9600

As of today, for Jan:

Top LC is at 84 hrs.
Bottom LC is at 25 hrs.

Top SC is 93 hrs.
Bottom is 17 hrs.

Lots goes into that spread. Guys on leaves, vacation, proffering vs not. Also, for those outside AA looking in, you can't be assigned over 85 hrs; so that 93 hr SC guy may be trying to consolidate and probably requested more flying (he/she is very junior).

FWIW, when I did LC, I averaged 60 hrs. I'd fly 2, maybe 3 days a week.

Typically, how long can one expect to be on reserve in PHL? Are you almost guarneteed to get SC vs LC right out of the gate?

Thanks for that intel. I will look into that if I can't find a room. Were you on reserve while you were staying there? If so, how many days a month were you in PHL?
