your data points are an extreme outlier. Way off of the curve.

all this being said, I'm happy you are able to achieve what works best for you. I'll continue to sacrifice vacation credit and sick time, as well 95% of the pilots group, to supplement your work strategies.
Get off the cross already. You’re not doing anything for anyone here stop kidding yourself. And you get more vacation time than a Delta pilot and the same vacation day pay. Stop acting like the vacation day credit going to 4 hours is some life altering end of the world. Yes they get more sick hours but they don’t bank sick with a sell back option. I know I know. You’re not retiring yet so who the hell cares! Just those evil senior guys. It doesn’t immediately benefit you directly so it doesn’t count as gain.

Sorry bro but banking is not a thing anymore. Not since Part 117 and our horrible schedule flexibility has become standard. People retiring now with banks accumulated them early in their careers when you were able to only work 10 to 12 days a month and credit 90 hours and are able to keep them late in their career where their seniority gives them the flexibility they need. People today without that super-seniority are forced to use sick time as a last resort to get a date off they really need. A new hire today will find it much more difficult to bank anything. Give me Delta's 240 hours a year and no bank over our measly 60 hours a year with a bank any day of the week including Tuesday.

You know it takes 20 years to get that 240 hours a year right?

Look I have an issue with our sick system where I needed 1 day due to an one day bug, but with how much we accumulate and how it works for line holders I just burned almost half of our annual accrual. If I get sick just one more time and on the wrong trip, well there goes the other half. No option to call in well to stop burning the sick time. I have zero expectation to rejoin my trip, but would be nice to have the option or some kind of mechanism to either go on long call reserve, go without pay, or like how Delta does it is able to fly to put the time back into your bank.

I would like to build up a bank to where if I ever need to go on LTD, I can bridge the gap. Got to be awful lucky to not get sick two times a year to build up such a bank......

Now before El Peso comes in and tries to lump me into the hardcore no voters because the issues I have with no improvements in sick time, I am still leaning yes based on the bullet points pending full language.

I wouldn’t criticize you if you were a hardcore no voter. You should vote how you feel I’ve always argued for that. If this thing fails I wouldn’t lose any sleep. It’s not a home run contract. It’s a good contract, but not a home run.

I just don’t like it when people make stuff up. Like imsosuss who says that every section other than pay in concessionary. Or like another poster saying that Eagle pilots have priority in our jump seats over mainline pilots. That we have no work rules, or that we get reassigned every day. Just basic BS like that annoys me.

Oh I bet that post is entertaining to read.... Need to go back as I didn't see that one.

Unless they meant how a PSA guy can bump us out of an Envoy's jumpseat, then that is BS that needs to change. Should go own metal->AA->Other WO->other Eagle-> OAL.
