schedules have gone downhill in the last year or two. Used to be able to drop/reduce your schedule and now, regardless of what El Paso will say, you basically cant move anything anymore.

So.....I can speak of the following base schedules on the 737 side. LGA: roughly 50% uncommutable on either end, 35% commutable on 1 end, and 15% on both. LGA is a bear because of the expensive hotels and cab rides between LGA/JFK.
CLT: much more commutable but depending on your commute city the loads are always sky high and oh, the CLT lines are heavy on the number of legs and short layovers. 3-4 legs a day. LGA is mostly 2 legs a day. DCA: less commutable but not as bad as LGA but a smaller base. I like DCA but it has not really grown due to CLT taking their flying (from what I see).

Much of it depends on the city you will be commuting from. My city only has 4-5 flights a day to CLT, more to DCA, and crap ton to NYC. You get to 8 flights or more a day then the commute is much easier, for me, anything less sucks.

You can hold a line in LGA ASAP but once again, that place sucks for junior folks. DCA a little longer, and CLT even longer.

This would force them to create more line holders and get rid of the ridiculous 35% reserve level that you see in some bid statuses. Anyone else who wants to fly more than 84 hours can just pick up in DOTC.

This is my number one issue with the current contract, and somehow APA managed to make it worse. Unbelievable.
THIS RIGHT HERE ABOVE!!!!

Miami 737 FO LCW goes to 90:55 this month which means a large percentage of FO's will be getting close to 90hr lines. Then this TA will make that number go from 90:55 to 92:55. 93 freaking hours. Lines will be in the 90-93hr range.

We are soo stupid. Will be working 17 days a month for sure. Cue El Paso to come along and tell us how lucky we are.

It's the #1 QOL issue that's being ignored. Way more important than RO and reassignment pay. 84 hours is already 16 days of work, which is ENOUGH.

Because non reving on other airlines during the summer is such a blast.

And cue Armyguy to tell us that Eagle gets priority in our jumpseats. Or that we don’t have a jumpseat reservation system.

Since you bring it up, it is true, PSA get priority on Envoy over AA guys regardless of checkin or status. Total crap.

90 hour low credit window is just asinine.

Eagle pilots getting priority on Eagle flights…I don’t see a problem here.

yes, along with trip trading, unfortunately, the RO, RA crowd was super loud about it. I tend to work 85-90 when I hold a line, so doesn’t kill me, but does really limit trip trading ability for the group as a whole. That said, not sure it will ever change, we have too many loud groups with agendas.
