How much do you have to hate APA to be angry about a dues holiday? I’m not saying APA is without warts but some of you all will ***** and moan about anything…including getting to keep more of your own money!

Exactly. Section 6 will end when Delta and United get contracts. We might as well just stay on dues holiday until then. I don't see the point in paying 1.5% just to end up with 85% of what they get.

Makes perfect sense from their side to try to get the best acquisition deal AND the highest chances of passing.
If the above is the angle ALPA is going for, that's not negotiating in good faith, IMO.

Referencing the base blast you mentioned, it sounds like there are a few "You'll have to vote for it to find out what's in it" items. Like dues and the future of APA medical benefits. That seems like a cocky kind of position to take. As was previously mentioned...it'll all be a moot point without a heavily engaged pilot group. Here's to hoping for the best possible outcome.

Sadly we are back to dues next month. Holiday is over.
