All this now is really meaningless. The agreement was arbitration we honored that in the west and to date the east refuses to honor their obligation citing after the fact issues of fairness.

I don't know why you don't just stick to that and stop arguing the Nic was fair, or the other assorted BS you guys like to throw around.

"....at the risk of offending people, US Airways was on the
verge of liquidation, not bankruptcy."
For you US east guys, I would think you might've wanted to leave out that little "minor technicality" in any argument about "who saved who"!

The award was fair, the results of a neutral arbitrator are powerful evidence that a fair result was reached. Now where have we hear that before?? Oh yeah FEDERAL COURT!!!

Listen, once again we honored our end fair or not we placed all that in the hands of an arbitrator and we would have honored what ever he said. Now the east cant make that claim because here we are in 2013 5 yrs after the ruling and the east is still crying about fairness while trying to convince the world that DOH was fair to everyone. That ship sailed relay and unless you can get Parker to pay us out west you will never ever see DOH or conditions and restriction of any kind. I think you know damn well Parker will not allow this mess to tank his AA deal and I doubt even more the DOJ gives its blessing with it hanging out there.

Leaving out the possibility of Chp 7 would be like WD and avoiding facts. US was in a tough spot and the only other airline that I can think of that lasted that long on the "death watch" was TWA. The difference in US and TWA is that the company we merged with was also in need of money and we brought a lot with us. And as it turned out we were the most valuable piece of the merger. I've put it all out there instead of cherry picking and keeping dreams that have been proven wrong alive.
Anything else?
