I just redid my assessment after receiving the TBNT in December. I just hit "agree" on everything. I wonder if they'll call me.

Default American interviews and class dates

Does anyone know if there's a way to tell if you were not selected besides the TBNT email? I applied several months ago but I was just deleting my Junk Folder without checking it for the first month. So if I received a TBNT, I wouldn't have noticed it for the first month. I'm still updating my times every two weeks and all my sections still have green check marks.

Thanks

They'll be back in 2016.
Yep. Fits my profile to a "t"... Now if APA could just get some form of LOS....

Did you mean to say LOS or a furlough credit?

Both are one in the same for voluntary furloughs.

I'm not sure what you're implying. I mean Length of Service for time on furlough (obviously not for deferral periods). The same thing that United and Delta fought for their furloughees.

At least on the AA side, he's implying applying a longevity reduction on furloughs who exercised their contractual rights to defer recall (and AE/AA flows whose training was delayed by AMR, as well). There are some furloughees in the same catagory on the East and West lists. This is a popular position among some third listers (who since they are NOT "East" pilots, should be considered a fourth list for this integration) because it's a potential way to gain a more senior position on a combined list at the expense of pilots theoretically senior to them if looked at by DOH or ratio (percentage on any given list).

It's commonly referred to as "leapfrogging".

Tried to sign up at pilot credentials yesterday but I keep getting the "We are not accepting new profiles at this time, please check back at a later date" message. Anyone knows what this means? are they done with taking applications already? or would this be temporary.. thanks for the info.

It is a question absent implication.

Involuntary furloughed pilots in the United SLI arbitration received credit for the length of service they were active. Voluntary furloughs also received a furlough credit in addition to LOS credit.

I think we'll certainly see a length of service credit for everyone.

Eagle, You may know that USAPAs push for DOH was not successful in their previous merger with AmWest. It may likely not be successful in an integration with APA.

There is some confusion about Third-List pilots, but there are two seniority lists at US Airways. Some pilots on each list were hired after the US Airways/America West merger. These pilots are "listed" as holding conditional notice to that previous merger. Meaning Third-List pilot seniority expectations are relatively less.

So, with all that... Congrats to those recently hired or returning to the newAA.
