American interviews and class dates

It was just like Yeager's final scene in the movie "The Right Stuff" except we had 3 engines. Music, strippers, BBQ and everything.
The career ended up just like his smoking hole in the ground too.
When I got hired, I asked the same question except it was "what is a 707". The grizzled 25 year goat looked at me and said, "a real man's airliner".
Now pushing 25 years, and former B727 CA, I've become the old goat. Gotta go now, the grass in the yard looks tasty and needs trimmed. If only the wife would take off that damn bell around my neck.

I'm sorry for changing the subject, I just wonder how expats are doing with the hiring process. For people like myself with most of the experience abroad. Any insight on what to expect when lacking 121 experience?
My quals
5700TT
4600 Turbine
2300 Wide body SIC
750 Turbine PIC
College Degree
All of my experience except my early training and instructor time was conducted in Colombia flying for Avianca, FAR 129 operator of US registered aircraft.
P.S. phone is not ringing

Although AA, I'm not connected or have any inside information as to what the final call is. Alot of airlines used to have a 1000 PIC requirement, but I don't have a clue about AA today. Don't know about the 121 issue. Would it be on of those plusses in a hiring program? If I ever run across someone involved, I'll ask.
Amongst my interview group long ago was a Venezuelen and Algerian Air Force pilots. The V guy got hired, don't know about the ALG guy.
Good luck.

I know of at least 2 video interviews that have gone out after this. Both just received the coveted 'more information' emails. It is hard to be patient, good luck to all!
