Maybe this week will add NYC to the mix.

When the crew planning manager comes in earlier in the day you can ask if he knows yet what's available (he didn't volunteer it - but I asked when chatting off to the side, and he gave us the scoop, so we knew earlier that day what was coming) and then have your list set so that when they get to you it's a no-brainer.

I shared the shuttle with a new hire (who was there either for indoc or training) and he reached into his briefcase and showed me his assignment list. Is it handed out at some point or did his group perhaps make it a little project of theirs to create a "memento"?

It's provided after the class is assigned.

Apologies if this has been answered recently (I couldn't find it):

Anyone know how many guys have started at AA (AE flows and street hires) since the merger announcement?

Thanks.

Around 220 or so, including the group that started today.

I actually misread the original question. The 220ish is the number that have started after the merger close, with the first class being 1/7/14. I'm not sure how many have started since the merger announcement.

Could someone explain briefly how the Eagle flow works? Namely when they flow, do the HAVE to come over in seniority order? Let's say pilot A is senior to pilot B at Eagle. When their number comes up to flow, could pilot A decide to bypass a class and stay at Eagle while pilot B flows over to AA? And then if pilot A decides on the next class to flow, will he be senior to pilot B that flowed over first?

I guess the real question is do they already have a set seniority number at AA (like a ghost number), and will be senior to certain pilots when they flow, even though some of those pilots may have actually been on the property first?
