Saw the DFW area code when I got the call while eating dinner with the wife. Put it on speaker to she could hear when I answered. Both hugging while I'm trying to accept the offer. Guarantee you we won't forget that call.

767I Miami for this guy, my first choice and what I personally wanted! 12 new hires. 13 AE flows. 2 AA returning.

A great day! Glad to have finally made it.
During the whole process, is there a point when they discuss which aircraft are where and what routes they fly? Are the 737s out of MIA heading south and the 767s heading over the Atlantic?

737 Int is mostly Caribbean, Central America and some "South America Lite" (Cali, Medellin, Manaus, plus a couple of others.)

75/76 Int is a mix of some Caribbean and Central America, a bunch of Deep South, and some Europe. The Europe stuff (MAD BCN MXP LHR CDG) is the most senior (as usual) followed by Deep South (SCL MVD VVI GIG REC SSA CWB POA BSB CNF ASU). Lastly, Caribbean and central/South America lite goes junior.

Just talked with a fairly senior FO who's flying MIA 767 I. Post IOE he hasn't had one Europe trip. 600+ hrs/one year post IOE. Lots of Deep South.

MIA Europe trips are awarded to approx the top 15% of lineholders.
