ERJF15 and Subliminal Congrat's and welcome! It's a great time to get on. Things are getting better. August starts the new reserve system and is much better than the past.
I hear great things about the training for new hires and flow thru's.
I am part of the mentor program (now called Compass program). If you have any Q's feel free to personal message me.
After your basic indoc, your mentor will contact you and give you a complete welcome letter explaining where everything is and if it's me i'll send you a complete "Computer codes for new hires" with every code you need to get thru IOE and onward.
For the military or civilian guys the AQP program in effect since 2003 at AA is great. No systems Oral. You do it on a computer. 1 hour at the most.
When I went to the 767 in 2001, my oral was with a asst chief pilot in DFW he was a D*&%$. 4:15 four hours and fifteen minutes. He walks in and says " I do my orals differently, thus 4:15." He had memorized page numbers and would have me look things up and then read aloud, I'm so glad he did that (sarcasm) reminded me of reading Go Dogs Go to my Mom and Dad.

I'm excited for my classmates and I. Four of us are getting LAX/320/D.
I spent 3 months LGA/320/D, will have 1 month DFW/320/I (next month), and getting LAX in September.
Things are moving fast (finally). Good luck to all.
