If I had waited for AA I would have lost over 2 month seniority (5/12 US, 7/15 AA) which would've been around 150 numbers. Yes a drop in the drum when apart of a 14,000+ pilot list but you never know what the future holds or where the dust will settle.

We also need to increase 1st year pay! I know of 3 who finished OE and left for DL (2) and UA (1). DL I can understand but UA…. they can’t figure out their head from their ass. The only reason the one went to UA was because he was in a serious financial strain at $40/hr and needed the extra cash for his kids (one with Autism) so it’s completely understandable. Poor guy, he really didn't want to leave but just couldn't make it work.

We need to increase first year and get a contract that isn't bottom of the industry. It sickens me we're a legacy that's the largest airline in the world who's as profitable as DL and we have one of if not THE worse contract in America.........
was he a flowthrough?

What's happening is Doug already has the world's largest airline, making record profits, with no profit sharing, because the pilots agreed to contractual terms to allow it already.

If we want Doug to seriously negotiate with us now, we could capture his interest by offering concessions...

Its all interesting to be talking about negotiations but we have to remember this is the same Doug that amassed over 300+ contract violation grievances at USAir, and never negotiated anything until he wanted to be HMFIC of the world's biggest airline.

Leopards and spots...

Among all the calls for video interviews, F2F, etc. any candidates with only 135 background received invitations, and subsequently hired? The 135 experience inclusive of DO, CP and Cka, if counts for anything...

I am currently waiting for a class date, interviewed early Aug. All 135/91, not military. Have CP experience at two companies, 8500TT, 3500 PIC jet. But everyone else I interviewed with was 121.

Hopefully I'll get a shot at it. when did you submit the online application? How long the process took for you from time of submission until the offer? PM's are welcome if you prefer to maintain privacy.
