Well all that matters is we can get bumped off now for weight. We are not protected.

Yes, that IS definitely a bummer. One more thing that needs to change, for sure.

A lot of PHX flying on the 320 is transferring to LAX but we don't know how much. I'd guess you're more likely to move up faster on the 737 because there are still dozens of guys on property trying to get LAX 320.
I was surprised as well to see LAX in the drop considering the PHX situation. I've been tracking the drops ever since the 9/23 class. No LAX in that class but LAX in both Oct classes. No LAX in the Nov classes.

I'll definitely make sure I have my displacement bid in if I get LAX! Thanks for all the info.

I was shocked too. There were something like 45 PHX A320 pilots on the mutual base exchange list for LAX. There are probably many others still in east bases that want LAX as well. Apparently there is nothing in the contract to prevent the company from putting newhires wherever they see a vacancy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you won't be displaced if your position doesn't go away? For example, 75/76 and other wb folks (at the bottom) are more likely to get displaced because after the "high season" the flying is reduced and therefore the position numbers are reduced. At AA if the total position numbers are retained in a bid status, someone cannot come in from the top and bump you out - they can only attain a know vacancy. This is why guys are upset at the company by offering new hires these positions - as they are already highly desired. They are rightfully upset IMHO as this needs to be fixed-folks on property should get first dibs before they are offered to a new hire who most likely will not get displaced on these particular fleets.

What is the latest Indoc fleet and base info? For example, any fleet types set to migrate to another base in the future? More info on fleet reductions or increases? Thx

That's not true.

Nov 1 class had 9 LAX/FO/320/I and 4 LAX/FO/737/D

Last award (March 2017 bid) was about 2,800 from the bottom. That's about 1,600 more senior than the Feb awards.
They slot in about #70 of 130.

So not that junior.
