Yes sir, the current contract is abysmal not to mention the company will not even implement things claiming IT issues.

If you are a 787 CA, we have a different perspective on everything.

Not everything. Spell "assume" out loud.
It's not you vs. me, btw.
Unity matters.

What I don't understand is why we are complaining about them not implementing the JCBA. Every time they do implement something it just gets worse around here. The fact that these LAA guys think the Green Book is actually a contract is fu!king amazing to me.

I know a few new hires here and the sentiment is the same amongst them. They questioned coming here in the first place and now that they are here, they are more unhappy than they imagined. That's very sad. Getting hired at major airline is a huge step in ones career and is very exciting. When new guys/gals who have been pistol whipped for years in the regionals are experiencing buyers remorse after coming here, there is a huge problem.

I will give the LAA guys props on one thing. For the most part, the hotels have gotten much better. Us Air sucked in that department

When you take a job at a major (or anywhere), you're placing a bet on what your life is gonna be like. Some bets are winners, some are losers.

There actually is pattern bargaining and things WILL change. We have to fight to make it better, mgt. won't just hand it over. It's not the only place like that either.

Not a new hire (yet). Just wondering if anyone has any insight on the aacredential page regarding the little "message" section on the first part of the profile. It says, "Please check all sections of your profile for accuracy". Is this message telling me that something in my profile is not accurate? Or is this just a canned message that is always on there? I didn't know if this was a please correct your application message. Thanks ~ AB

AB,

Probably a canned response. They do background checks later and want accurate stuff in there. How do I know? I do interviews.
