I liked AA's 1998-2001 standards. Basically needed a minimum of 5-6 yrs experience, civilian or military, to get hired.

Any Part 91 or Part 135 guys move forward in the process yet? If so, curious about flight times/types etc.

I am from 135 and previous mil experience. 5000+ total. Interview in a couple years.

I have both heavy mil IP/EP time and heavy 121 time. I have met tool-bags in both industries.

Just heard from a jetblue guy that the guy who used to be in charge of hiring at JB now works for AA and is involved in the hiring process at AA. They are selecting JB pilots preferentially, which I think is a good thing (I dont work for JB).

My understanding is that he doesn't actually work for AA; I was told he works for the third-party contractor that does the initial screening/video interview.
