I heard this as well. He says that he has no pull for JB pilots. But it is very similar yet more expansive. 2 days. Focus on Integrity and a strong work ethic. Values. Customer focused.

And why is that a good thing? Sounds a bit cronyish.

Guessing I didn't make it past the video interview... Saw one person mention an invite for the 2-day in person. How about anyone else?

Did you get an email requesting more information after your video interview?

I like JB pilots, theyre a good group. Any reason not to think picking up airbus qualified pilots with Latin America and Caribbean experience is a bad thing for AA where MIA may go relatively junior? I know they dont necessarily care about that stuff, but it ends up being beneficial anyway. I'd also say the same for picking up pilots from Spirit if any are applying. (im not sure if the airbus will eventually go to MIA)

My guess is they run a credit check (SSN) and check the National Driver Registry...maybe FAA records.

Maybe you'll be in the next set of invites. Don't lose hope yet...it's just begun

Could that be Dean?

I didn't get an email, but I noticed the additional info field open in my application. I went a head and submitted it. I am waiting for the in-person invite as well. I'm staying positive. No contact is usually a good thing.

I saw a group of youngish clones all dressed about the same - impeccable Interview suit in black, all wearing guest badges - at the Flight Academy today. I'm guessing these were the first of the pilots to interview.
