If you can make things more complicated, AA can do it.

I swear the managers dream up ways to make more work for themselves to justify jobs.

In full disclosure that's what I was told but I haven't confirmed with anyone that counts the heads. Everyone is using the September 6 date and expecting something around that date. I heard the 8th so it may make a difference on timing of the release if Letter T is in fact the reason the SLI's release is being held up. Someone may be able to confirm whether it's the 6th or 8th at some point.

Letter T pilots coming back is rumored to be between 180 to 200 out of the 1,000. Last class of Letter T pilots September 6/8. Sliceback and I have heard two different dates.

Letter T pilots are waiting as long as they can before notifying LAA whether they intend to come back or not as they would like to be able to see the award before making a decision.

Again I heard a slightly different version than Sliceback. Most if not all Letter T pilots notified LAA prior to the day of the class whether they would be there or not. Many waited until the day prior to class before calling and saying no though.

Ups - I was told 'no showed'. No details beyond that. Late enough so that no one else could use the slot. That was the frustration point because it hurt other pilots who would have taken the slots.

Not sure. Agreed, either way they couldn't fill the class with the no-show or late notice pilot.

What theses no-shows are doing is just delaying the release of the SLI because the arbs would be guessing at the Letter T answer if they didn't wait.

All the Company would have had to do is make one very large class for the last class of August and they could have recalled all the Letter T pilots this month. If the requisite number of pilots "no-showed" then the class would have been appropriately staffed. If too many showed up a dozen or so would have received a two week vacation. But either way the mystery of Letter T would be over.

So why didn't they do that? Because they don't care what happens as long as they have a list by October 1. Makes you wonder if these guys are really trying to build one happy family or just don't care.

Hey guys,

I've got a F2F interview coming up and I'm looking for info. I've looked through 70ish pages of this forum, and haven't found any gouge or where to find it. I've check willflyforfood, but it seems that its outdated by a few years.

What I'm really looking for is more than a general description about what is expected for the cog test. That math stuff looks difficult!!

Anyone have any info they can send me?? Thanks!

I guess I don't understand why they would be waiting for a Letter T pilot when it would only be a handful for the 9/6 class? Is it really worth delaying for the last three weeks just to accommodate less than 25 at best Letter T pilots? ***!

If your a junior native AA you'd definately want them to wait If those guys don't come back then if arbitrators are sticking 2 AA then1 US then 2 AA you could potentially be senior to a few more US pilots in the end 25 might not seem like a lot but when you get displaced or furloughed 1 number can make all the difference

3_5_10_2 = 20

Fill in the missing operations...

So the answer is... X, +, %

Remeber your order of operations... Always multiple and divide before you add or subtract

I practiced these A LOT before the interview, tried to research if there was a good way to tackle them (found nothing) and still had a tough time with some of them. I kept getting within one number of the answer several different ways. I skipped a few which they tell you to try not to do.

I think some people just see these patterns easier than others.

I got through about 5 or 6 (including the ones I skipped) and it sent me to the next activity. I think others got through more than me so the computer must have realized I was doing poorly and moved me on for my own emotional wellness, ha!

Practice but don't stress if you feel like you aren't doing well. I still got the offer.
