We may not know for 1-2 weeks.

Total furlough/total return - as in how many were on the list that got recalled vs the latest number that returned?

Real good update. I currently live in FLL, AA MIA base would HUGE for me!
I'm hoping to get a call soon and being positive for a successful outcome!

Cheers![/QUA

We have some trips out of FLL... they go very seniority.

Thanks fly101!
Once I'm successful and MIA base, I'm good!

I'm just guessing here, but I wouldn't be surprised if MIA got slightly tougher to hold after the SLI base bid. I certainly don't think it's going to be a senior base, but so many pilots live in FL that I'd bet that PHL/LGA is where all the new hires will go while the US guys get their dibs at MIA. Pure speculation on my part.

I'm very interested to see how MIA turns out after the SLI. The MIA base, retirements, and relatively junior widebody flying in MIA are the only reasons I would leave my current job.

Sliceback,

I heard the date is actually September 8. The 6th is the administrative class date. The 8th is the date they physically show up for class and will be the first time they can do an actual head count.

Ha, learned something new. Didn't realize there was an administrative class date and a class date.

Last class had 6 of 14 no show.
