For an example your dental insurance doesn't include bi-annual or annual teeth cleanings. It's going to cost you $60. Use to be all preventive teeth cleanings were included.
Health insurance premium wise is better at United but I wouldn't let that stop you from coming to AA. Most insurance policies across all the airlines are deteriorating to just mediocre.
On the good side the 16% 401k contribution is really good! You don't have to put up one penny if you choose to and still get 16%.

Health insurance isn't great. It's not bad but not good. If you are military keep TRICARE reserve if you can.

26% of all the new hires were military. It had been closer to 37-40% (+/-).
Post recallee period, which is expected to end in Sept., we'll see what the early 2017 percentages are.

Yeah, seems like they need to hiring a lot more than 600 a year. I guess they are counting on PBS efficiencies to fix this. Also, under the new reserve rules in the JCBA they will be able to utilize Long Call Reserves more. Starting in Oct (maybe Sept?) you have to check and see if you have a trip after you block in from a sequence, and between 1500 and 1600 HBT. That trip can start 12 hours later. Used to be that you had 12 hours of rest and only then could be assigned a trip, and required 12 hours notice for that, so gaurentee 24 hours off after a sequence...
