No sim ride. There are multiple really great explanations on this website. https://www.aviationinterviews.com/
From what I can remember (I interviewed early 2016)...
It's about 4 hours of computer tests with a break in the middle.
Exercises include...
- Watching a dot go around in a circle for 20 minutes and clicking a button every time you see it skip
- Simon Says with multiple colored buttons, rudder pedals, and buttons associated for a sound that goes off in a headset
- Picture of a pizza in the middle of a room that is standing on point and wants to tip over...you try to keep it upright with the stick and rudder
- Memory recall: they show you a picture of a city with POIs and then ask you to identify as many POIs as possible a couple seconds later when they disappear from view
- Picture of a 3D cube with different designs on each side. They show you about 5 photos of the cube flipped and ask you which one is correct.
- Math: missing operations
Ex. 5_4_2_3=13 The answer would be... x, %, +
All the problems started easy and became more difficult as we progressed. We all felt like we did terrible on the math. Some people finished 30 minutes before the others.
From the people I kept in touch with after the interview, we all got the offer so don't sweat this too much. Buy Luminosity and practice the missing operation signs with some family or friends.
It was honestly a really fun experience. Both days. Enjoy!

Mmm... Try to be yourself through the nerves. Smile a lot and make sure they know you're happy to be there. Thank everyone for the opportunity.
Safety, passenger comfort, on time arrival in that order when you're thinking through the scenario questions. Be conservative when asked "what would you do?" in a certain scenario.
Go interview prep with Cage Consulting or FAPA. I did both and it was very helpful to practice questions with a real person who isn't family or friends.
Make sure to stay in contact with the others you interview with. It's nice to have a support group through the waiting process and chances are you'll see them in class too. When do you interview?
Have fun and keep us updated on your process.
