Is american hiring off the street or only military? Are they taking wholly owned guys outside the flow?

Guys are sometimes switching bases, but not equipment, before they finish aircraft training.

Talk of S80 going to new hires again. I'd guess DFW.
Hey, I'll gladly take an 80 to DFW.....sign me up now!

Also, any words on what the availability date was advertised by those guys in the late Aug interviews?

Keep in mind that its not just AA, but AA and US now, so new hires could go to either MIA LGA LAX, or PHL or DCA, and maybe even the E190!

I'd guess that 6 per class (assuming 2 classes a month) will get the 190...until they park them

PRS I second that. 6 E190's a month! They are hurting bad on FO's, so if you are young be prepared for PHL E190.

Listening to the CLT/PHL FO's Airbus they are in way worse shape then the 190's.

Anybody knows what training pay is like? Is it monthly guarantee or something else? Last airline was a dismal $2,500 a month. That's tough when you have a family to maintain.

True but the last 4 classes ALL went to LUS, except recalls.

You can add DCA to that list too.
