Congrats on getting the call. I wouldn't sweat / worry about having to choose . AA will give you a choice of interview dates, and if none work, email or call, and be honest! They will work with you!!
Good luck,
Joe

Any recent interviewers? I'm wondering what the timeline is between the video and getting an in person interview offer.

I'm in an awkward situation because I'm in initial training for a regional right now, and I'm not sure what I would do if I got the in person interview offer while still in training. Can I tell American my situation? Or, is it like show up when we tell you or don't show up at all..?

I would obviously bail on the regional and go AA if I got hired but I don't want to chance messing up the interview and losing my current job at the same time.

Thanks for the help

Anyone else finding it difficult to get an email response from the AA pilot recruitment folks? I've emailed on a few occasions asking legit questions and received a reply once..so I know the address is good.

18-24 months ago, you could have had a CJO and heard nothing but crickets from AA pilot recruitment for 1/2 a year or more, so at least they are stalling you before you have set up your transition to oblivion.

Got the same "Support Department" email and almost deleted it too.

I'm looking for advice on the video interview and the actual interview from people who have recently interviewed. Thanks.

Posted this a few weeks ago….

The gouge on the video Skype has not changed.

We have a full mock practice setup in our AA packet for clients that includes each question that will be asked. It allows you to practice the video portion on your own computer, as many times as you would like, until taking the actual one.

Wear a suit, have good wifi, at a quite desk/office, phone off, no distractions.

Check out RST American on Facebook. Lots of "ride reports," from interviewees.
