Any suggestions to help my resume? I’m trying to get on with American, my 1# choice.
2500 TT all turbine
1100 Mil IP(all trainer), 1300 TPIC(includes IP), 170 121 hours
Currently flying part 121, A320/321 type rating at an LCC.
Also an AC flying heavies in the AF reserves.
Four internal letters of rec.
No masters.
No form 8/checkride busts.
I did a UAV tour which is why my hours are low. Also I am a fighter B course washout, the skeleton in my closet, which is probably keeping me from getting any calls. I have to list it as training failure. That was 11 years ago.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

$.02 - get the IP slot. Get a 121 job
ASAP. Bust your nuts at both.
Here’s a question - two resumes -
4100. TT. One with 1000 hrs TPIC and a C-17 IP.
The other has 4100.TT, C-17 IP, 800 hrs TPIC, another type rating and 121 hrs 121.
Which do you think gains more traction?
How much can you fly as a reservist? You want to maximize your flight hours increase once you check off mil IP. Both civilian and military. Don’t delay getting 121 qual’d.
Can you move the IP Qual’d up to the spring? Guys have literally done that and were called within 2 weeks.

Time to start grinding it out and hopefully hear something before the end of the year!

Question about base seniority/ Aircraft
Y'all, I'm trying for AA like just about everybody else. I can't seem to find the seniority list for bases. Anybody know how senior LAX is for new hires? And what airframe an LAX new hire would likely get if that's even possible? Thanks.

LAX 737 FO was awarded to the 2nd to most junior pilot at the company in the Jan 9th Class drop. Basically immediately if your on the 737 I’d say

I know there is no 100% sure answer to this. But, after a decade and 1 month of flying the two Fan Sh!T Can and lawn dart looks like the roots on my regional boots are finally breaking away. Looks like March 20 for me* of course something could change until I’m actually in the class of course. I’ll be 35 and 2 months. I’ll be a middle of the packer I’m sure. So what.. as it is today is the right plane to bid to get to DC, and maybe how long could I be waiting. I’ve moved to every base to avoid commuting. But, now I live in Annapolis and won’t lie, kind of stressing over a NY commute. I’ll be filled w gratitude whatever I’m awarded, but I want to drive to work. Philly is two hour drive or less, but from what I’ve heard from ppl based in DC they are all very happy there. Any help to me, Jonny Brite Stripes would be appreciated.
