None that I know of.
"Thought it would be" is a future tense.

Heard from a friend that his SWA buddy (junior FO) has an interview scheduled with every intention of bailing if he gets the offer. Says that sentiment is shared by other junior FOs. How much of that is bravado and how much is truth I don't know.

The guy he is talking about lives in the DFW area and is a drilling reservist.

That makes sense. His QOL would improve drastically.

How would his QOL get better leaving SWA reserve/junior line holder? He'd be working more for less $ at AA.

Perhaps you're unfamiliar with each airline's RSV rules.

Living in base, especially as a reservist. QOL and pay don't always mean the same thing

That surprises me. I can see leaving Jet Blue, Allegiant, Virgin, etc., even as a captain, but Southwest? Maybe it's the fact I was told by an American captain, I really respected, not to hop around laterally. I would chose American over Southwest, but I still put them in the same league.
