These results mean that the representation ratio of USAPA after Single Transportation System and during Seniority Integration will fall from 1 rep to 300 pilots to 1:1100. Many US Airways pilots find it difficult getting a call or email returned these days. This may become impossible after STS.

West pilots as a block voted against having their own BPR reps continue to represent them. Look at how unsuccessful TWA's DFR was. A later DFR won't grant everything lost by giving up further representation. #livinginthepast

The four remaining officers will be much easier for APA or newAmerican to incentivize. That being said, I believe the four remaining US Airline Pilot Association officers will make the right decisions on behalf of the group.
You really are clueless.

First, this vote has nothing to do with representation but with usapa's dissolution, who controls usapa's money after it's decertified. Second, the west pilots are outvoted every single time 8-3, so what did we lose? Third, the west voted in a block to keep just 4 people in control so it's easier to follow the money and prosecute them if they spend one penny to attempt at representing usairways pilots.

You are not correct. This vote determined who will continue to supervise the Merger Committee post Single Transportation System.

What did you lose? You lost your local representation.

Usapa will be gone and control nothing. The Mou you voted on was set up for the apa to takeover:

Mou paragraph 5:
"US Airways, and is successors, if any, shall continue to recognize and treat with USAPA as representatives of the pilots employed by US Airways until another representative for the pilot craft or class is certified by the National Mediation Board (the "NMB")."

Hey flybywire, they've got this. They have never been wrong or lost an argument, just ask them!

I hear they are pitching that hideous tie to the AA uniform committee.

Does an MOU have more teeth than a statute. Enquiring minds want to know.

How about a federal judges interpretation? Thought so.

Our case is still open before Silver. We heard from any appeals court yet?
