Does anyone know if APA and management are on board as well?
Well, checked again and so far nothing. It might be more accurate to change the title of this thread to "USAPA reaches protocol agreement with itself..............film at 11".

The APA reported last week that they were indeed in negotiations with USAPA on a seniority integration protocol agreement... Both unions had special meetings in closed session last week dealing with seniority integration negotiations specifically among other items...

So... both unions had special meetings, both admit they are negotiating a protocol agreement... Yeah, I read that as USAPA made an agreement with itself... How can you possibly read it any other way?

Are these claims the same as a protocol agreement being reached ?

I think not. When one IS reached, both will announce that. So far, all I've heard is USAPA internal claims of reaching something with itself and not APA. Until the latter occurs, it's all assumptions and one-sided at that.

I agree the APA has NOT said an agreement was reached. And I certainly never said they did. But the APA DID say they were negotiating last week with USAPA. And USAPA also said they were negotiating with the APA.

So if the USAPA negotiating committee was working on a protocol agreement with the APA, why would they present something to the BPR unless they finished? If they had walked out and nothing was reached, there would be nothing to have the BPR vote on. So that leads me to believe an agreement WAS reached with the APA. Now whether the APA APPROVES the agreement, well that's a different story... Shouldn't be too long before we find out I think... At least they are working on it...

Hey, if one is truly reached, great !

However, I can't take anything said by USAPA at face value. I'd need confirmation from other sources, so again until then, AFAIC there is nothing. USAPA also says they approved a revised MTA or something. That would require Parker as well and there's been nothing there and both would essentially mean USAPA is dropping their lawsuits, which then would lead one to wonder who caved on their position ?
