And this thread, ladies and gentlemen, is why it worthless to actually expect a response to a legitimate question posted on this board.

Its sad that a post that simply asks... how many newhires are there? Is 6 pages in with no answer.

Airways was expected to hire 310 this year, so being halfway through the year, I'd guess we've hired around 150-160 in 2014. And since Airways started hiring again in 2011, we've added another 450 or so to the list (in addition to the above).
