Do you really believe someone hired AFTER the merger announcement deserves to be senior to someone hired over a decade before the merger announcement at AA?

I for one do not.

I make it a rule to NEVER place myself in a potential line of fire with someone like that covering my back (even with a bullet-proof vest on backwards) and it's sad that many guys came from regionals like you with the "it's good for me" mentality.
Being an organized labor blowhard won't support my family. Gotta look out for number one.

No, after then merger announcement everyone should go below laa and lus. But those hired before its all fair game. Doh shouldn't matter in a seniority integration only list position on the ACTIVE list. Even if you were hired 10 years before someone its doesn't matter if you were on furlough the whole time.

I'm not willing to comment nor speculate on 3rd listers hired before the merger announcement.

But in my original comment that's why I noted in paranthesis that I was referring to people hired after the merger.

Happy landings.

It is not being a labor blowhard, it's recognizing DUI and his gang for what they are and what they have been.

WOW, I have never put anyone on my no fly list, if that's your attitude, you have made it. Your true colors will shine through.

I bet during an EVAC you would just bail, screw the pax and crew.

Agreed, minus one thing. Instead of "merger announcement", it shold be "merger effective date". The merger was uncertain due to the antitrust lawsuit. During this period, people that were hired took the risk and accepted that they could have been working for a single carrier.

Anyone who wouldn't put their family first has some serious moral issues. That said, because someone does, does not mean they do not care about their profession, wouldn't make sacrifices for it, or they don't give a **** about anyone else.... Some of you need to get a grip...

Wrong, tx boy is just short sided and small (not everything is big in TX) minded. Of course he needs to look out for his family.

I do think he doesn't give a **** about anyone else.

What is it about you always wearing your clothes backwards?? Somebody was just saying...I think it was AA73...that you always sleep on your stomach with your underwear on backwards! (I'm KIDDING! Everyone calm down!)
