Would you consider leaving $50k+ in additional pay on the table to be a concession versus going to arbitration and getting $0? Concessions come in all forms, not just midnight sim sessions for .05% of the pilot group.

Or have you dug your heels in so deep that you can no longer see anything at all?

What they are asking for in the HBT and by combining the intl/dom divisions are huge concessions! The sims, 2 hour call out ( the flight department management has already told the company that is a nonstarter from their perspective, so it is gone ), 40% tax on our healthcare plan can be adjusted to not cause us to loose dollars and coverage. Get more informed on the two big gives before you say no big deal. They will cost us big down the road.

I've been doing a 90 minute call out in one of the worst traffic areas in the country. ****ing and moaning about a 2 hour call out seems silly. It's short call for a reason.

Concessions! Keep yelling it so it must be true. Vote no! Stick it to 'em! We'll really get them in 2019!

A couple concessionary items are the current law of the land on the LUS side. 90 min call out. Min days off still 11/12. Current mix of domestic and intl. Once we have those rules active, then it will be a concession. Until then, it's just some writing that Parker is ignoring.

You live in a fantasy land

There is a reason you don't want a exact time on call outs. Traffic, flat tires and other issues can make anyone miss a time limit. That can result in discipline up to and including termination. It's much better to not be specific. At a minimum it should state that a pilot on short call should be within 2 hours under normal circumstances not as a absolute.

There's a better reason. It's presently a hard-won contractual provision that management wants for free with nothing in return, except more disregard and poor treatment. The pay rate proposal simply moves pay rates forward, but there value is negated by demands for mitigating concessions that emasculate the additional pay value. No mid-term pay adjustment either, so Delta and United pilots will leapfrog AA pilots under this ruse offer in the near future and insurance offsets, among other things.

Unless a fair offer is made, arbitration is the better path in the long run.

They have not! There has NEVER been a specific callout to report time at US Airways. The rule states that you must reside within 90 minutes normal driving time to the airport, not that you have 90 minutes to get there. If it takes you 2-3 hours, it takes you 2-3 hours. Information is key and knowing is half the battle.

I have never heard of a 2 hour callout on the east.

Don't let parker gobble gobble what little work rules we have left.

Happy dried out crewroom turkey day everyone!

No one has seen the language. All we have seen is a bullet point.
