Default So how hard will it be to get CLT post SLI?

Seems like a lot of AA people are interested in going to CLT. I hear there's a good amount of US Floridians that want to go to Miami.
I'm thinking CLT will be tough to get.

Even harder with the possible loss of widebody flying and other "synergies"

MIA and CLT are going to have a POW exchange with a big kegger on Fernandina Beach, just north of JAX.

It will be like the scene in 'Animal House'. We'll vote on each guy as their pics pop up and the guys we both can't stand will be sent to DFW.

I could be wrong but it seems that a lot of AA guys commute out of ATL.

I think it should be like the NFL draft. "We'll give you Jenkins and Smith in return for Davis and your #1 pick in the next new hire class."

I imagine the same thing with LUS living in SoCal and AA in AZ.

Plenty of ATL commuters from MIA. RDU-MIA is another big commuter run.

I think the CLT allure is the 'Goldilocks'' syndrome. AA bases tend to have a lot of "too's"

Too cold (ORD/BOS), too hot (MIA), too expensive (LAX/LGA), too small (DCA), too flat (DFW)

The lack of wide bodies and the pay cut that would mean would give a lot of guys pause.
