With this shove-down-the-throat JCBA and MOU with hands tied in bk, we are now locked into the lowest compensation of the 3 legacy carriers until 2019. Giving away profit sharing was one of the biggest mistakes this pilot group could have ever committed.
Let us not make the same mistakes again.
Pay attention to the psychology used against this pilot group.
Do not allow yourself to be played, and let us not be played against each other, as this management group did with AW/US.

Hmmm, they showed a DAL 777 CA (with an hourly rate of $271) as getting $59,000 and a 777 FO (hourly rate $185) getting $41,000. I was operating under the assumption that the $271 was the top end of the pay scale.

Pretty sure that's a generic number. Lots of opportunites at DAL (and UAL) for making extra cash above standard minimums. They have Green Slip flying and other incentives. We have Senior Manning etc etc. There are a number of guppy CAs here at UAL making $300-350k/yr by working the SRM game and working their tails off during the summer and holiday seasons. I think the charts are just simply an "average" for the everyday Joe who flies his line and collects his paycheck. And nothing at all wrong with that either!

Understood, and fully endorsed. I assumed that the profit sharing was based on your base salary and hours flown and not necessarily a hard percentage of whatever you pulled down with extra time and soft pay you took advantage of. Bravo if there are guys getting significantly more than the quoted number. I'm always all for pilots getting paid more.

Because they tried (and failed) to hijack the careers of the West pilots by "representing" them in this SLI. Voting in the MOU was voting OUT the scabs. When do 97% of a pilot group agree on *anything*? Never. Except fighting off an armed robbery. If the East scabs hadn't incentivized a yes vote so thoroughly, maybe profit sharing would be on the property. Any pilot, from any airline would have voted exactly the same as those 97% if forced into the same situation. The failed USCABA experiment is directly related to this POS contract... Something DOUG PARKER understood perfectly, and played the pilots like a fiddle.

I used to sympathetic to the West's plight. Not so much anymore after the way they have treated me and some of my fellow third listers. I think a few of them will be fired once we start mixing crews. I don't see APA fighting for some of these jackasses.

Have 1/3rd of your career robbed from you and see how you feel. Believe me, no West pilot gives a flying f$&@ how anyone else feels about them either.
