Great news, assuming nothing holds up the SLI. Flying out of DFW will make this job way better (already a great job).

Have you been commuting from dfw? That would drive me nuts living in a LAA base and having to commute. I'd be impatient as all hell.

You get used to it. Been commuting DFW-PHL for 3 years. I was hired right before the merger was announced. The only thing that gets old is when you keep getting asked if you're going to bid DFW when the (non-existent) fences come down.

Just start answering, "no bruh, I love this commute."

My DCA to DFW (MIL) commute drove me crazy because AA was always weight restricted on the direct flight so it was a 2 leg commute.

Jumpseaters don't need to be excluded from weight restrictions, it's the way it's AAlways been.

Back on topic... 4/1 vacancy awards out last night.

Junior CA award was LAX/737, down to 5800 sen (4/99 hire)
Tons of ORD/787 awards
Tons of SFO displacements to LAX as the SFO base closes
Lots of LGA/777 awards
Lots of DCA movement. Bottom DCA/737 award went to 10,000, almost a new hire
