Good to hear people can get bases they want. What about DFW? I imagine the md80 displacements make it tough to get.

No, I currently live in LIT but we are relocating to DFW in 2017. Wife is just waiting for a position vacancy in her career field to post (she's a federal employee).

Junior DFW AB FO is an Oct 2014 new hire. Just got the award.

S80 is 145 numbers more junior but I think that window might be closed.

I'm a Feb 2014 hire....we'll see how many move in and out if DFW during the big bid. Maybe I can sneak in there.

One thing is clear...an ISL will definitely change movement.

All my friends at UA, DL and even SW are seeing rapid (or at least steady) movement. And AA has more retirements than any of them.

But we have the most "right-sizing" to do!

Sorry, the tone on this thread was just a little too positive.😉

Most on here don't know that :

the mainline fleet is shrinking and deferring orders

PBS will require less pilots

dom/intl is gone

JCBA not fully implemented (imax ect..)

hubs are not rightsized yet

Economy is probably going in the dump

and finally they don't know Parker.

Prepare accordingly.

I've seen worse, at least he's realistic about what the future holds. He's right that we are deferring orders and most people are clueless.

True about the deferrals. Of the several hundred orders left four of the 2017 deliveries were pushed to 2020.
