Not sure, I just found it extremely odd. He is an A320 captain out of DCA now, wonder if he has changed his ways.

I was on RES, flew with him 4 days in a row, shuttle one days. Found out more than 50% of FOs had him on their no fly list.

Hey LAA guys, someone told me you guys don't have a no fly list. Is that true?

We do. It's a "do not pair" list. Admittedly, I've never made use of it yet, so not an expert. I don't know if a reserve F/O can use it though.

Thanks EF, I have never used it either, since I used to teach CRM, I would feel like a failure.

Not sure if our reserve guys could use it on paper, but if they went in to see The Chief I am sure they could get out of it.

On the shuttle you could fly with the same guy for the entire month so I bet guys dropped the entire month.

"Do not pair" employee number of perp each month. I don't know what trigger level is, but at some point one can get kicked out of their base when enough FO's flag someone.

From what I've heard, it's a voluntary and well earned title.

I put myself on the do not pair list and was off for three months before they figured it out

If you would "feel like a failure," you haven't truly flown with anyone who should be on that list.

I have flown with 3 in my entire career. I don't give a **** who taught what-if you could get far without physically stabbing my boys, you deserve a medal.

The DCA guy was always hitting on FAs, I told him the altimeter twice, he didn't set his so I did it for him. He had a fit. He tried to shake my hand before our next flight, I walked away, in crew room. He comes in cockpit and has a fit. I gave him 20 F-bombs, list why, he goes, I didn't know that. We got along fine after that.

There is rumor at Chautauqua in BUF, FO hit captain with the log book.

Like you, only been a couple.

How do you think the LAA FO/IRO will treat the West FO/IRO if the West gets their super seniority bump? Not dissing the West, but if you go over and start flying 787/777, that is a huge gain. It has been quiet over on C&R on this subject lately, guess everyone is in wait and see mode.

No one knows how the SLI will turn out. Could be good for everyone with all the retirements on LUS side, and more choices on LAA side.

Flew with a CAPT out of CLT who was a known quantity. Thought I could handle his behaviour with my superior CRM skills but failed. Finally snapped and had it out with him after landing. He immediately marched into the Chief Pilot's office and complained about me so the Chief called me to get my side of the story. Bottom line- I was removed with pay and told I never had to fly with him again. Don't put up with arrogant/reckless/unpleasant behaviour if it affects flight safety, let pro standards and your Chief's know. And yes, we need a DO Not Fly List.
