If true, it shouldn't surprise anyone. As Nicolau so aptly stated, the various proposals rarely meet the fair and equitable standard. Since AAPSIC's revised proposal was "whack" and most certainly the East's was nuts and of course the West's was Kookoo for Cocoa Puffs, I still stand by my original belief that the Nic will not be used in pure form (although segments of it may be apparent) and none of the three models will be adopted.
The legacy of the AAPSIC's whack revisal may just be its purpose (and possible success) of demonstrating just how the Nicolau upsets the ability to craft the most fair and equitable list given the complex pre-merger realities present in this SLI. If any model should bear even a close resemblance to the final product, my bet would be on the AAPSIC's original proposal with of course, the obvious disagreement noted here.

Agreed. As the days wear on, more and more tantalizing claims will creep forward twisting some into pretzels while others howl at the moon. SOP.
