They are actively turning away previous Atlas pilots returning during the downturn. Fully qualified and good enough to have hired once. Maybe it’s just the HR screening firm - have some people checking on it.

And likely shouldn't have been hired the first time in any case...

What would incite such a response? Maybe a clean record, several years successfully flying their jets and passing every graded training event? The ability to screen for and land a job many at Atlas have apparently are unable to get? It’s not just one case.

Much like the CEO might tell our Pilots as a reason he refuses to pay the group more - “it’s not personal, it’s just business!” “I’m a businessman, why would so do that?”

I throughly enjoyed my aircraft and the people I worked along with to make us safe and effective. I also understood the economics of it and made a business decision for myself. No regrets, but my return could be a very cost effective solution to operating now. I’m almost free to train at this point - quick requal and back to producing revenue. Nearly guaranteed return on a small reinvestment.

It’s just business.

I cannot think of a single airline that rehires....after being told by someone they dont want to work there anymore.

Got the job at Southern on the 777. Class starts on the 20th. Maybe a bit late, but I am wondering what a typical trip is like on the airframe if anyone flies it.

Thanks for a good laugh. So I’m guessing they took your pulse at the interview, neglected to tell you what you’d actually be doing? Hahaha I can imagine all the HR tripping over each other finally getting some action with resumes gushing in. Martha... oh lord look how many there are now, they’re coming in Martha we’re saved!

Its understandable why you’d go to a place during these times without knowing what you’re getting into but you might find a couple of thousand bucks on unemployment might be a better deal than being gone for most of the month at a place you don’t want to be.

Trips are 17 days, although there seem to be more split lines these days. Destinations are CVG, ICN, HKG, ANC, LAX, LEJ, BAH, JFK, ORD, MIA, with less frequent flights to EMA, MXP, and SHJ. Everything is DHL for now.

You might also want to look back on your social media history. Let me be clear that I don't know who you are or what it looks like. But HR probably does, to include [especially] the GC Facebook page.

62 hours X 12. That’s just the reality. Anyone that says different is not giving you the whole truth. There are months it’s possible to break min- It’s just not realistic
