Doesn’t matter what anyone averages. Business can slow up at any given time. You need to budget on guarantee. Anymore than that is gravy.

solid advice. 76 lines used to be built mostly to less than guarantee or close to it but with attrition and inability to hire the avg line value went up and so did overtime trips. Now there’s little to no attrition and no growth so I’d expect the lines to go back to 62 or less as more people show up in the next couple month. I’m trying to explain the big picture It goes up and down. There’s some southern pilots on here who will throw out higher numbers Bc of lack of pilots on the 777 but as their ranks fill they too will will see their rigs drop to rig if not guarantee. It just hasn’t happened yet for lack of pilots but it will. Those of us at atlas who see how this place is managed all see that writing on the wall.

This. The whole reason why we're going to slide into a depression here soon is because people don't budget on less than what they actually make to put away the extra money for when they make less or nothing. A 2 month shutdown wouldn't be so disastrous if the whole country had two months worth of expenses saved up to get through it.

Wasn't Atlas short a few hundred pilots going into this anyway?
Maybe they're expecting a large uptick in cargo with the belly-freight capacity all-but evaporated now.

The 777 has been steadily growing, with orders for DHL still waiting to be assigned to a carrier FWIW.
