I'm not sure but I don't think it has "closed", haven't really followed on that though so could be wrong.

Implying people forgot things carries an implication that the people who were bypassed were sonehow at fault for thinking their bids would get them into their base according to seniority. People didn't forget. The system was engineered poorly. What other airlines do with a single bid system we split into multiple bids. The fault isn't with the pilots.
