Was told in the phone screen for 74 it's 3 months. Not sure about 77.

4 months to get out of MIA. Then two weeks to four more months to get off OE. A lot depends on clearing backlogs, etc.

Can you break down a bit what 4 months of training entails? Thank you

1 week indoc, 1 month systems and oral prep,1 month Sims and type rating prep, several weeks of topoff training, and probably 3-4 weeks sitting around on a break in training.

Others pretty much summed it up. After systems there's consistently a series of delays as people try to get into sims, procedures trainers, etc. Lots of time off between sessions, etc. So about 4 months start to finish in Miami. After that there are training backlogs, etc. to deal with, so OE can take some time.

Appreciate the responses. And just as much, the humor.

Topoff training? Polishing for the ride?

Any time to jump a plane home to cut the lawn so I'm not tossed out by the wife?
Coming from the West coast. I know it's a bit of a stretch. I'm good for grilling at the hotel. Make a mean brisket.

Best..

LOFT, CAT II/III, landings, etc sims as well as classroom days for things like international procedures, differences, etc. This all occurs after the type ride is complete.

Don’t plan on it. It may happen at some point depending on your schedule and how long it would take you to get home and back but it’s not good to plan on that. Schedule changes often occur with very little notices and you are expected to be there until training is completed.

Due to not enough training devices, you can expect a break. Currently most classes are being sent home for 3-5 weeks, the Aussies might want to plan on Disney.
