Well that is kind of good to hear for me. I took the test and scored in the high 80's back on 4/1 and emailed KF the same day and still haven't heard anything.

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about not hearing from them if your tech test was done 4/1. It was 3 months after I had taken my test that they called me for the phone screening.

I think most of the HR/hiring staff are in ANC this week conducting interviews so probably not a lot's going to happen on that end this week as far as callbacks.

Phone screening is like a mini HR interview, a little about yourself, what you know about the company, would you take 767s, good being away from home 17 days a month.

Anyone have a gouge on the ANC interviews?

Probably the same as JFK/MIA interviews. Minus the tour of the MIA training center and being watched by an HR lackey as part of deyerming your overall score in being selected.

Anyone awaiting OE on the -400 right now? If so, how long is the average wait? I was seeing that a few people only have a little over a week off after training. Are there plenty of instructors to go around?

My last training event was 21 Apr and I'm flying my first OE leg tomorrow morning. I expected the class in front of us to take all the 1 May slots, but here I am 😉

Man that is way too quick! I was told we'd get at least 2 weeks off. After being in training for this long that time off is needed. Did you get a good trip at least?

There is (or atleast last year there was) a bid process for OE slots where u make your preferences known to the OE scheduler and they work u in to the OE sked based on LCA availability. Regardless, while I agree a little time off after training is desired... The longer you delay OE the longer you delay going on full pay. While first year pay ain't great, it's certainly better than training pay. Just some food for thought.
