I'd like to see that math. Say you complete training and OE in two months, 2x50x$80 = $8000. That means you would have to credit 108 hours each of the next ten months to reach 95k. A more realistic number would be 76 hours. 760 x $80=$60,800 which gets you to $68,800 for the first 12 months. I have no idea what the current OE wait is. It was running months but the company has been trying to reduce it.

It gets better in year 2 but not by much.

If a recruiter really said 95 and you're not trolling (which I'm guessing you may be..?) they maybe meant for captains...
I remember the slide in the presentation too.

Sorry for laughing.

If you pickup OT each month and never conflict bid your training or call in sick (which will drop your CRT) then yes it is possible. However, I wouldn't count on it

Completely unrealistic. Not even close. I've received 14 paychecks since I started. We get 24 a year, which means I have 10 more checks to go. I've GROSSED $25,314 in 9 months. You'd have to sell your soul, start OE immediately after training, VX (and actually do the flying) every day of the month, and take no vacation to earn that kind of money.

You were lied to. I can't even think of one new hire that I've met that is close to that.

I've been here 5 years this month and haven't made more than $95k/year yet.

Not a chance. I've averaged about $6k a month gross pay since completing OE. I don't do VX(that's what open time/overtime is called here), I bid lines with the days off that I want, and take what comes.

Even if you wanted to fly VX trips, as a junior guy you wouldn't be able to get them most likely. So far everybody I have come across doing VX, both Captains and FOs, have been very senior.

Take note potential applicants: While virtually every other airline is actively negotiating & signing industry standard/leading new TAs with their pilots that adequately reflect the pilot market - this Lorenzo-style management team here willfully ignores reality, stonewalls and condescends at every possible turn, obsessively fills their own golden parachutes & now apparently has HR making up shiite to lure gullible applicants. They are resorting to actively lying to the dwindling supply of new recruits in order to keep the wheels from coming off. Don't fall for it. Run tf away. Did you hear about the 10 (or was it 11) Atlas captains who were all standing in line at the job fair waiting to talk to another airline right next to the Atlas table? Think about that. I've been here for over a decade and cannot in good conscience recommend anyone coming as it stands now. The planes should all have hazmat stickers on the outside of the cockpit doors for being toxic to your career/earnings/health/sanity. It doesn't have to be this way but sadly it is.

Ps- At the next job fair, ask the HR rep about their policy regarding suing widows for their deceased spouses' 401k money. Then stand back and look for the uncontrolled twitch in their eye, sudden stuttering, and noticeable change in body language, you won't have to look hard to spot the tells. The Death of Frank O?Donnell | AtlasFacts.org This metal screw found in our crew catering seems pretty symbolic these days. Atlas Air Catering | AtlasFacts.org. (None of this is new, it's all widely & publicly available knowledge - but it bears repeating for those struggling with reading comprehension problems due to shiny-big-jet-derangement-syndrome). The more you know...

"Hey guys, gals,
Is there anybody out there who passed the initial test and DIDN'T get a call for an interview?

Also, do they use any other means to invite you to an interview besides a phone call?"

How about quadruple your money and work fewer days! ...so does FedEx, Southwest and Delta
If Kalitta is passing on applicants with thousands upon thousands of hours of international experience and 747 rating, what's your point sir?
